1. Introduction

Welcome to VOWCH. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the VOWCH platform, website, and services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

VOWCH is a digital gift voucher platform that connects customers with salons and spas. Our Service enables:

  • Customers to purchase and send digital gift vouchers
  • Salons and spas to sell, manage, and redeem vouchers
  • Secure payment processing through our payment partners

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of our Service, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Salon Partners

Salons and spas using our platform agree to:

  • Provide accurate business information during registration
  • Honor all valid vouchers presented by customers
  • Maintain appropriate business licenses and insurance
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Pay applicable commission fees as outlined in our pricing

5. Voucher Terms

All vouchers purchased through VOWCH are subject to the following terms:

  • Vouchers have a validity period as specified at the time of purchase
  • Expired vouchers cannot be redeemed or refunded
  • Vouchers are non-transferable unless otherwise stated
  • Partial redemption is supported; remaining balance can be used for future visits
  • Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash

6. Payments and Fees

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. VOWCH charges a commission fee on voucher sales, which varies based on the settlement mode chosen by the salon:

  • On Redemption: 6% commission
  • Monthly Drip: 7% commission
  • Immediate: 10% commission

Standard payment processing fees charged by Stripe apply in addition to VOWCH commission fees.

7. Refunds

Refund requests must be made within 14 days of purchase and before the voucher has been partially or fully redeemed. Refunds are processed at the discretion of the salon partner. VOWCH facilitates communication between customers and salons but does not guarantee refunds.

8. Intellectual Property

The VOWCH name, logo, and all related marks are trademarks of VOWCH. All content on our platform, including text, graphics, and software, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

9. Limitation of Liability

VOWCH provides the platform "as is" and makes no warranties regarding the availability, reliability, or accuracy of the Service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, VOWCH shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
